I began running Professional Development for Harlem Children's Zone in 2016. My work includes identifying areas for staff growth, researching best practices inside and outside of the organization, building and facilitating curriculum, and overseeing evaluation of the professional development program.
I specialize in workshops on inquiry-based learning, communication, followership, collaboration, team building, and facilitation skills.
I was a Leadership Trainer with the Student Leadership Training Program for 5 years, which cemented my facilitation style. Working within a student-centered pedagogy, I have offered training and coaching to develop more effective classroom management skills with teachers, Teaching Artists, and administrators.
